Founded in 2022, the Micro-Grant Mentorship Project (MMP) was established to equip Lao youth and young professionals with the comprehensive training, glocal mentorship, and personal and professional development opportunities needed to spearhead funded, cash-in-hand initiatives that directly benefit local communities.
By fostering leadership and innovation, MMP aims to equip its youth partners with the tools to make lasting contributions to their communities and promote sustainable socio-economic development in Laos, as well as strengthen the bonds between initiatives led by the next generation in Laos.

Our Mission
The Micro-Grant Mentorship Project emerged from a collective recognition of the significant challenges facing the young people of Laos in accessing comprehensive professional development opportunities. Witnessing firsthand the barriers hindering their professional growth and global engagement, particularly the lack of targeted training and mentorship, we were spurred into action.
Our goal is clear: to empower young people in Laos with the confidence, skills, and knowledge needed to effectively navigate the globalized world. By equipping youth participants with essential, transferable skills and assisting them in establishing a baseline track record of community development undertakings, we aspire to empower these individuals to seek new avenues for personal development, explore societal needs, and address the most pressing challenges in their communities.
